About Us

The Club was formed in 1968. From the beginning we have promoted the sport of snowmobiling as a safe and fun activity for the whole family. Volunteers yearly educate the youth in the safe operation of a snowmobile. In the early 1990’s 140 miles of groomed snowmobile trails were established in Martin County. We connect up with Iowa trails to the South and bordering counties to the East and North, which lead to many other trail systems.

Location

We are located 2 1/2 hours south of the Twin Cities on I-90. Check out this Web site for information about our club, how to receive a trail map, trails conditions, links and current club events.

Club Meetings

The club meets at 7:00pm the first Monday of each month at the Groomer Building @ 1224 E in Fairmont. New members are always welcome.

Members

You and your family can become members of the Blizzard Snowmobile Club by paying the yearly $40 membership fee. This also includes your membership to the Minnesota United Snowmobilers Association (MNUSA). To become a member click here, or for more information contact us.

Volunteer

On a side note out of the 22,000 miles of trails in Minnesota only about 1,000 miles are maintained by the DNR, the remaining 21,000 are maintained by volunteers of local clubs. With that in mind, we could use some new members and volunteers to help with maintaining the trails in Martin County. Become part of the sport not just a seat warmer. Help us protect the rights of Snowmobilers in our state.
